Please review the following and submit the form below to request legal assistance. Any information you share with The Lawfare Project (LP) will remain strictly confidential, and may only be shared with trusted attorneys in The Lawfare Project’s network for purposes of legal evaluation. Additionally, submitting the form does not obligate you to take any further action (including speaking with The Lawfare Project).

LP's mission is to enforce and uphold the civil and human rights of the Jewish people via strategic legal action. Pursuant to this mission, we take on cases that involve antisemitic discrimination, harassment, and/or other circumstances where individuals or entities are subjected to unlawful conduct because of their Jewish identity. For example:

  • Are you a professor who has been denied tenure, a promotion, or a job opportunity because of your Judaism?

  • Are you a professional whose employer has refused to reasonably accommodate your observance of Jewish religious practices, has penalized you in relation to your religious practices, or has retaliated against you for reporting antisemitism in the workplace?

  • Are you a student who has been bullied, harassed, or excluded from opportunities at your college because you are Jewish?

  • Are you a member of a Jewish student group that has been treated differently from other, non-Jewish student groups?

These are just a few examples of the types of cases we pursue, and are solely meant to help you decide whether LP is the right organization for you to approach. If you are unsure of whether your particular situation falls within the scope of LP’s work, please do not hesitate to submit this form.

While we endeavor to help as many individuals as possible, LP is an organization with limited resources and we cannot accept all requests for assistance that we receive. Please complete and submit the form below, and we will respond if we may be able to assist you.

In the event that we may be able to assist you, we will respond to your request as swiftly as possible. However, it is important to know that all legal claims have deadlines. For some civil rights violations, you may be required to file a notice or pursue options with a government agency before you can file a lawsuit in court. If you do not comply with time deadlines or notice requirements, you could be legally prevented from pursuing your claim in court. Contacting LP for legal assistance does not stop these deadlines or eliminate the need to file notices. If you contact LP and have an urgent need or must meet a deadline, do not hesitate to also contact a private attorney, your local public defender, or your state’s bar association. DO NOT WAIT for a response from LP.

Nothing on this website should be considered legal advice. Contacting LP for legal assistance, including the submission of this form, does not create an attorney-client relationship. Any potential future engagement of LP to provide legal assistance will be governed by a separate written agreement, signed by all parties involved.
